Kappa Kappa Gamma's national philanthropy, Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. (RIF), is a non-profit organization that encourages children to begin reading by delivering free books to families who need them. The sisters of the Beta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma hold an annual golf tournament each fall to raise money for our national philanthropy, Reading Is Fundamental. In the fall of 2008, we raised over $3,000. With the help of sponsors in our community and the participants playing we surpassed our donation goal.
